I don’t know about you, but this week has had my emotions all over the place. I feel like I’ve peeled another layer off of the onion and my eyes are opened wider (and tearing the fuck up) to parts of me I haven’t even realized or acknowledged before. Parts that need healing and I’m being given the opportunity to. Finally.
We have the Full Moon in Aries on Monday, September 24th; so instead of my two-day weekend forecast I am including Monday here as well. Because it’s the damn firework finale. Snap, crackle, pop and boom mofos!
Let’s start with SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND…
At 1:55am eastern time, we have Mercury in Libra in opposition with Chiron in Aries. As if we haven’t wracked our brains enough and beat that dead horse to an unrecognizable pulp, we still feel that justified bitterness. We weren’t treated fairly and dammit, it’s still hurting, it still feels like a form of rejection, and it’s still eating away at us. It’s time to let that shit go, dude. It’s time to turn your pain into your platform: use your hardship and your perseverance to inspire others. Take a stand for others. Let them know they aren’t alone in this.
Then at 7:15am the Sun (in Virgo) and Moon (in Aquarius) form a quincunx and guess what? It’s tension headache time. That by-product of over thinking things to death. Take some deep breaths and literally relax your tensed up body. Resisting relaxation, and almost like it’s resisting moving forward from feeling just plain crappy. Get out of your own way, lose that damn grip of everything needing to be “perfect”. Perfect doesn’t exist. Take note Merriam-Webster, remove that crap from the dictionary ASAP, thanks!
After the moon went void of course on the 21st at 1:13pm, it enters the sign of Pisces at 8:27am on September 22nd. We’re apt to be more emotionally in-tune with our surroundings, sympathetic to others, have a heightened imagination as well as creativity, and are prone to vivid dreams. It’s a time to look out for not so healthy means of escapism, as well.
At exactly 10am, the Pisces moon will quincunx Mercury in Libra. We could be prone to super unrealistic idealism… But nobody seems to want to cooperate and that’s incredibly aggravating. Lots of bickering and an absence of ability to reach common ground to comprise. You probably will want to disappear at this point of the conflict via dissociation… Can’t say I blame you, honestly.
At 11:56am, the moon in Pisces will then sextile Uranus in Taurus giving us a little more of a motivational oomph to assert ourselves, get more grounded and become a bit more accountable. Now will be a great time to unwind and to take full advantage of self-care TLC. Enjoying the simple things.
Then at 1:56pm the Pisces moon will sextile Saturn in Capricorn. Solidifying that grounding foundation we currently stand on whether we realize its existence or not. No more escaping reality today! Saturn means business: it’s time to face your shit.
At 9:54pm the sun leaves Virgo and enters Libra. It’s time for appreciating beauty, kindness, and justice. Being advocates for fairness, but with a less aggressive stance (well, potentially passive-aggressive).
At 10:41pm, Mercury in Libra forms a quincunx with Uranus in Taurus. It’s all about harmony versus rocking the boat; harmonic thoughts versus “fuck this shit and the horse it rode in on entirely” impulses. Please take a collective minute to weigh the pros and cons before making a final decision on how to handle this situation.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD…
At 12:22am the Piscerean moon trines Venus in Scorpio. We are deeply feeling the love and sentimentality. We have a little break from feeling the tension of the week, instead feeling a sense of peace with who we are and who we keep closest to our hearts. This is a great time to tap into your creative side.
The Libra sun opposes Chiron in Aries at 1:01am which feels much like the previous day’s aspect of Mercury (in Libra) opposition Chiron. Only this time we aren’t just dealing with wounded intellect, we are dealing with our wounded egos. Now egos tend to get a bad rap, but our own ego is necessary to our survival (okay go ahead, make that joke about a Leo sun giving people the pass to accept their own ego… Hardy har har). That being said, it’s also necessary to know how and when to keep them in check. This is a good time to re-evaluate what is truly worth taking personally.
We have Mercury in Libra forming a square with Saturn in Capricorn at 12:46pm, providing lessons (as good ol’ Saturn likes to do) in reeling back our constant giving and giving and giving without reciprocation… Lessons in the pain as a result of having expectations. Less expectation equals fewer headaches and heartaches.
At 1:22pm the moon and Neptune conjunct in the sign of Pisces. I can’t stress this enough: stay the ever-loving hell away from mind-altering substances during this transit. Guaranteed it will be a bad, bad trip. Not to mention there is something that has been surfacing that is vital to your well-being that needs to be addressed. We are all going through it in some way, shape or form. The full moon is coming in a glaring force, it cannot go unnoticed. This isn’t a time to play yourself.
At 9:24pm the Pisces moon sextiles Pluto in Capricorn just like on the 22nd. As long as we are (for the most part) behaving ourselves, this transit provides rewards: mentally? More clarity. Emotionally? More calmness and serenity in the chaos.
Six minutes later (9:30pm), Mercury in Libra trines Mars in Aquarius. Intellectual quickness, a sharp mind, hilarious wit, and tons more mental clarity where that came from. You’re formulating innovative methods of incorporating self-love into your hourly/daily/weekly routine.
FULL MOON IN ARIES DAY! MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH…
We begin Monday with the moon in Pisces in a trine with Jupiter in Scorpio. This expands our imagination and brings even more depth into our emotional capacity, intensely inspiring works of art and the ability to really touch, impact, and move others via sympathetic vibrations. Follow your gut instinct because intuitive nudges will be off the charts during this transit.
The Libra sun quincunxes Uranus in Taurus at 3:09pm just like it occurred on the 22nd. Only this time, you finally friggin’ decide; you know what? It’s time to do what is best for you. Just for today, fuck people pleasing. You deserve to treat yourself as equally well as you treat those you love. Affirm self-love and forgiveness within. You are worthy.
The moon leaves Pisces and ingresses into Aries at 7:04pm. The full moon occurs at 10:52pm eastern time.
Everyone to some respect is affected by the full moon, no matter what sign it is in. And that’s because we all have the twelve signs incorporated into our own charts in our own unique forms. That being said, the cardinal signs being Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn in the earliest degrees will be the ones feeling the power of this full moon at its peak. (This applies to personal planets in the beginning degrees of the cardinal signs.)
What’s a full moon in Aries all about? Kicking ass and taking names, naturally. Being courageous and assertive in taking the needed steps in the right direction for our lives. We are being granted the opportunity to get our shit together.
The sun in Libra, Moon in Aries and Saturn in Capricorn are forming a T-square which causes tension and friction. The tight orb square between the moon and Saturn could leave us feeling low, or potentially depressed, and definitely pressure to overcome fear as well as resistance in overcoming life obstacles. Check on your friends. Mars in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus help to provide us with courage and to dig ourselves out of the challenging frustrations. Full moons can make us question our emotional security and hell, our emotional stability. Use your spirituality to stabilize yourself.
Chiron is conjunct the full moon and its going to bring buried, long forgotten and probably painful memories up. We are feeling “too” vulnerable from all of these things resurfacing… Remember you are not limited by your thoughts. Your past does not control you. It’s time to let this shit go.
This full moon is in one hell of a tight 1 degree orb conjunction with my natal North Node so perhaps I am a bit biased on my full moon interpretation because of that. But hey, I can’t be the only one experiencing these insane, eye-opening moments of clarity and radical self-understanding lately. I have had Chiron hovering over my North Node too (back and forth due to the retrograde) and I feel it to my core. Anyway, it is quite a contradiction to resist resistance. Letting go and throwing caution to the wind requires literally discarding your self-will the best you possibly can. Resisting resistance. An oxymoron, but be free. Let this past week and full moon in Aries show you the way.
