The Weekly Astrolocast Part Two: September 13-16, 2018

I feel zapped of energy this week, and yet at the same time I’m not. I go through periods where I lose motivation and despite astrology being my true passion, there’s many days I wish I could sit on my ass and do nothing. Funny thing is, when I actually get that opportunity I feel restless and unable to sit still. I can blame a lot of things. That being out-of-the-way, here’s the scoop for the remainder of this week.

Today: Thursday, September 13th… We have Mars in Aquarius forming a sextile with Chiron in Aries early on in the afternoon (1:35pm EST). This is a time of positive action and cooperation and we are finally being given that motivational push we need (phew, I need this!). We’ll discover unique ways to finding a new approach to healing and becoming emotionally committed to it with confidence and fearlessness.

At 4:02pm, the moon which has been in Scorpio will trine Neptune in Pisces. We are aspiring to do better with the cards we’ve been given. Life is throwing some curve balls (when doesn’t it though?) but we know we are up for the challenge, as we tap into our inner strength.

Tonight at 9:31pm, Mercury in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces. Feeling confused, foggy and hazy minded, we’re apt to get lost in dreamland which is a mental laziness but also a distraction from our conscious and subconscious self-doubts. It’s hard to focus as a result. But our minds are wandering far too easily which could lead to unintentional carelessness… so be careful!

At 11:59pm, the Scorpio moon sextiles Pluto in Capricorn which will bring psychological acceptance, awareness and compassion for our own feelings. It’s a time of soaking in more self-knowledge.

Friday, September 14th… The moon and Jupiter will form a conjunction in the sign of Scorpio (12:33am). We’re feeling positive and feeling inspired to “pay it forward” by doing a good deed; making a benevolent impact on somebody today without expectation of it being returned: unrequited kindness. It’s also a favorable day for us to express ourselves through creative outlets.

At 4:54am the Scorpio moon sextiles the Virgo sun, and the moon then goes void of course. We are feeling at peace and supported by the universe. It’s a very kumbaya kind of feeling, people want to come together and set differences aside to collaborate and cooperate with one another.  group hug

After the void of course, the moon ingresses into Sagittarius at 8:45pm which brings the emotive of limitless idea possibilities, and philosophical pursuits as well as exploration.

The Sagittarius moon trines Chiron in Aries at 9:41pm which brings new insights, understandings and discovery into learning new pieces of who you truly are. You’re feeling emotionally present; there’s no worrying or projection going on at this time and you’re staying in the now. Keep an eye out for signs from the universe and synchronicities!

Then, at 10:23pm we have the Sagittarius moon in a sextile with Mars in Aquarius. We feel the courage to express our emotions and our piece of mind. No fear! This is you laying it all out on the table and whoever doesn’t like it needs to look at themselves to figure out why. People are mirrors: if there’s something they don’t like about you, it’s because they also have it within themselves.

Saturday, September 15th… at 12:30am we have the moon in Sagittarius in a quincunx with Uranus in Taurus. We are prone to feel a bit mentally and emotionally unstable, our thoughts are erratic and quickly fleeting. Do not make impulsive decisions right now based on these out of control thoughts and feelings. Tap into grounding techniques and tools like deep breathing and meditation to quiet and calm the mind. This will end.

At 10:54pm we experience Mercury in Virgo in a trine with Pluto in Capricorn. We are now able to see opportunity and insights within our own capacity, accomplishments, and abilities. Our minds are open to new ventures, and we are easily giving ourselves the acknowledgement and pat on the back we deserve.

Lastly: Sunday, September 16th… We have the moon in Sagittarius in a square with Neptune in Pisces (1:12am). We may experience bad dreams and nightmares. We could also develop emotional upset from reading too far into situations where our personal perception is skewed. Our sensitivity is heightened for better and for worse. We have thin skin and are taking things a bit too personally but also, are extremely compassionate towards others.

Mercury in Virgo sextiles Jupiter in Scorpio at 7:51am and this brings the desire to leave scarcity mindset behind… it’s time to tap into abundance for ourselves. We build ourselves up and believe in our abilities. We can do it. abundance-v-scarcity-infographic

At 10:48am we have the moon in Sagittarius squaring Mercury in Virgo. It’s a battle between the head and the heart: tension and friction, a tug of war between the two. The problem stems from an internal debate of whether to act on one’s gut feelings or logical thoughts.

Lastly for the day at 7:15pm, the moon in Sagittarius squares the Virgo sun, and then the moon goes void of course (until it ingresses into Capricorn on Monday, September 17th at 7:07am). This brings an attempted placating, however it just adds more fuel to the fire of the anger bon fire. The other party in this situation (which you could be on the receiving end of and vice versa) is feeling invalidated, unheard and unimportant to you. But happiness comes from within, and you can fix people, that’s a decision they need to come to all on their own. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.

I’ll wrap this up by explaining that I feel heavily influenced by the newly Venus in the sign of Scorpio (which is in the shadow period prior to going retrograde). I find that I am just plain over superficial friendships and relations with others, I’d much rather be alone than sacrifice who I am and my own authenticity. The thought of people pleasing and hiding who I genuinely am makes me feel disgusted. This will be an influence over us for the next upcoming weeks, so buckle your seatbelts and get ready to embrace some unexpected yet wonderfully fulfilling life changes.

Until next time!
